The challenge was to “present the perfect quality resolution and lifelike colors of the new LG IPS monitors to the world, by using the screen.”

 

The big question was: How lifelike is the IPS technology? We wanted to put the monitor to the test, so we built a floor of monitors inside an elevator and displayed a recreation of the floor falling down the elevator shaft. And? Unsuspecting office workers certainly confirmed the answer after being exposed to the surprise of their lives… See video underneath.

Covered by tens of thousands of websites, blogs, tweets and Facebook posts, the film was picked up by global TV broadcasters, Good Morning America, The Today Show, ITV, RTL, Chinese CCTV, and numerous Korean channels. All leading to market shares in key territories increasing by 20%.
